Yesterday saw the third male generation of the Guest family turn out in the Red & White of Handsworth, when Jonathan Guest pulled on a Handsworth Shirt for the 2s game against Aston Old Eds.

Watched by his father Gareth, as he was by his father Dick, Jonathan (clearly a chip off the old block - see picture) played a fine game before heading off to Aberystwyth University next week.

As momentous an occasion as this was, Jonathan is not the first of his generation, as sister Elizabeth beat him into a Handsworth shirt by 2 seasons. This may be the first 3-generation family to play for Handsworth unless anyone knows to the contrary.

Welcome to the family firm Jonathan!
