Handworth entered a Natwest RugbyForce competition in the hope of seeing our name on the pitch-side boards at Twickenham during the England v Ireland game on 21st November 2020. As you may have seen, we were one of 12 winners.

Here is our winning entry:

Handsworth RUFC is one of the oldest clubs in the country, founded in 1887. We host 3 men's teams, A VETS side, a ladies team and a Colts side and are always looking to expand our Academy!

The only time our club has had a break from rugby was during both World Wars and now the current pandemic!

This hasn't stopped our fantastic volunteers coming down and keeping the club tidy by deweeding the grounds, cleaning out changing rooms and tidying the equipment shed etc. Our volunteers have worked so hard, not only to keep the club in a tip top condition but have also ensured the club is safe, clean and a happy place to be.
